Isabelle looks forward to joining the Bolton Symphony Orchestra for an evening of all things Gershwin. Isabelle will perform as Bess alongside Baritone Terence Ayebare (Porgy)
"Porgy and Bess, the first great American opera was premiered in 1935. Since then it has gone on to become one of the most familiar works in the musical repertoire. Here the BSO perform a concert version adapted by Robert Russell Bennett. A rare opportunity to here one of the great works on the 20th century. I Got Plenty o’Nuttin, It ain’t necessarily so and the iconic Summertime are all part of this evening’s wonderful music.
